George Winning has been appointed as the London Business Manager for IONIK Consulting.
George has over 20 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with a focus on corrosion and, in particular, chemical mitigation of corrosion. He is an active member of the Corrosion Society having been the chair of a number of Committees as well as past Committee chair for the Institute of Corrosion, Aberdeen Branch. He has published 15 technical papers at a number of conferences and has chaired a SPE Workshop on Integrity Management in 2007.
His role will be to expand IONIK Consulting in the JP Kenny projects run out of the London office as well as develop business on mature assets in the European and North African region. Having worked in the Middle East for five years, his knowledge of this area will allow him to support the IONIK operations in that region.
